 Public organization “Muzikonas” and club “Country Saloon” together with Vilnius City Hall and European bluegrass association EWOB organizes the fifth bluegrass music festival “Vilnius Bluegrass 2009”. Two concerts will take place in Vilnius on 21th and 22th of November 2009 at 19 h. for the public and open workshops for Lithuanian musicians. Jam sessions will be after both concerts at bar „BoBo“, where all the musicians will play together.

 Peter Rowan (USA) world bluegrass star, legend of American music, an American bluegrass musician and composer. Rowan plays guitar and mandolin, yodels and sings. He became a member of Bill Monroe’s Blue Grass Boys in 1964 before forming Earth Opera with David Grisman in 1967. They frequently opened for The Doors. In 1969 he joined Seatrain along with Richard Greene. |
